Interior of buffett-carriage cafe on
period steam-train at Sheringham light-railway, Norfolk August
2002. After a dismal storm lashed jaunt to Cromer in search of
high-street classic ambience we took off to nearby Sheringham,
crossed out of the main station and onto the old enthusiast's
railway over the road only to find... in all its 40s glory this
delighful 'utility' restaurant car decked out in full Milk Bar
mode. Not only that, there were a handful of useful caffs dotted round the town's
main drag too... |
